Art of Learning at Ekam Early Learning Centre

Spanish

Each child is unique, but what all children have in common is a natural curiosity and an innate ability to learn. Our brains are dynamic and continuously active, and a baby’s brain is the busiest of all. Research has shown that babies begin to understand language about twice as fast as they speak it, and this makes them a genius at acquiring a second language. By exposing children to other words at an early age, we are allowing them to tap into their natural ability to hear and distinguish the sounds of other languages, and their capacity to make sense of what they are hearing. Research also shows that learning a second language increases a child’s critical thinking, boosts their grasping power and improves memory. At Ekam Early Learning Centre, Spanish is as a second language is introduced at the earliest stage where the focus is on acquiring oral listening and speaking skills.
